Courts – There are two (2) outdoor basketball courts
with one located on Warren Drive and the other located next to
Fire Station #1 on Cantyre Street. Each court has two (2)
goals.
Senior
Citizens Center – Our Senior Citizens Center is located
in the annex next to the P.B. Edwards, Jr. Recreation Center.
Seniors meet every Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 2:30
pm. Lunch is served daily. Also on Mondays and
Fridays from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, the Seniors play BINGO. There
is no charge to play and prizes are given away. On Mondays,
there are free blood pressure checks from 11:00 am – Noon.

Community
Center – The Community Center is located on Appleby Road
and is available for rent by any resident of Port Wentworth. The
facility will accommodate approximately 100 people. It has a
fully equipped kitchen, tables, and chairs. The cost to rent the
Community Center is $40/day. A $40 key deposit will be required
when the key to the Center is picked up but will be refunded
when the key is returned to City Hall. To rent the Community
Center, you can contact Leisure Services at (912) 966-7428.
Pavilion
– The Pavilion is located near Fire Station #1 on Cantyre
Street. It has picnic tables, grills, and electricity.
The residents of Port Wentworth are encouraged to use this
facility.
Library
– The Chatham County Public Library’s Port Wentworth Branch is
located in the annex next to the P.B. Edwards, Jr. Recreation
Center. The Library is open on Tuesdays from 10:00 am –
1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm and Wednesday through Friday from
3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. If you would like anymore information,
