Robider will work under the supervision of the Assistant Chief of Police, Rennie M. Walters Sr., and will be responsible for code enforcement process oversight and review, grant writing, and assisting with management of Police Accreditation processes.

Elite Football League Choose Port Wentworth as New Location for Games

Members of the Elite Football League, the Richmond Hill Broncos, has left their namesake location and selected Port Wentworth as their new home. This minor league football team will play their first game at Port Wentworth’s Mobley Park at 303 Armadale Road on Saturday, March 23, at 6 p.m. The community is invited to attend and welcome the Broncos to Port Wentworth as they play at Mobley Park.

Chatham Area Transit Services Officially Expand to Port Wentworth

Today, the City of Port Wentworth hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the official start of the Chatham Area Transit (CAT) services in Port Wentworth. Port Wentworth Mayor Pro Tem Thomas Barbee, CAT Chairman Deidrick Cody, CAT CEO Faye DiMassimo, and Chatham County Commissioner Bobby Lockett as well as city representatives and other community members gathered to commemorate this historic development.
